Challenging Decision

To Our Harm Reduction Community,

Due to ongoing budgetary constraints and a tenuous funding landscape, CRA has had to make the challenging decision to reduce staff and services, effective 8.15.2025.

The remaining staff at CRA will work intentionally to limit the impact these reductions will have on our participants. However, we know that any reduction will certainly create unintentional barriers for a population already desperate for resources, but we are determined to provide as many services as possible while we navigate this difficult moment.

Please be gracious with the remaining CRA staff while we transition to a smaller organizational size. Our website and social media will be the best places to find up-to-date site information and drop-in times, which will be updated next week. Folks will still be able to call our main telephone line for new information as well – 312.953.3797.

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, please donate to CRA by following the QR code below or through our website here at anypositivechange.org/donate. Every year, over fifteen thousand people rely on CRA’s services to prevent overdose fatalities, get into care, and live healthier lives. Donating is, by far, the best way to help reinstate CRA’s full-service capacity as soon as possible. Of course, do not hesitate to share this notice and CRA’s donation information with your personal networks.
